01 About
An operator who learned to build.
BidlowAI is a lean, UK-based software and AI practice. It exists because the founder kept running into the same gap from the inside — and decided to close it properly.
02 The founder
Before BidlowAI, the founder spent seven years running ecommerce operations — the day-to-day reality of orders, systems, suppliers and the software that's meant to tie it all together. The tools rarely did.
So he taught himself to code, to solve the integration problems no off-the-shelf product would. What started as fixing his own operation became the thing he was best at: understanding a business properly, then building software that fit it instead of fighting it.
That operator's background is the whole point. BidlowAI understands the business problem before the technical one — because it's lived the business problem. We're not here to sell you the most technology. We're here to build the right thing, and to get it running in production.
The name says the domain we work in. The work says how seriously we take it.
03 How we operate
A few principles we don't bend.
The business problem first
We came up through operations, not just code. So we start with what the business actually needs to be true, then work back to the technology — never the other way around.
Senior hands on the work
You deal with the person doing the building, not a layer of account managers. AI accelerates the work; experienced engineering judgement governs it.
Deliberately small
We take on a small number of clients and go deep. We'd rather do a few things properly than spread thin across many — it's how the work stays good.
Honest about fit
If AI or a custom build isn't the right answer for you, we'll say so. A clear no now is worth more than a stalled project later.
